Reservation
Policy
In
order to secure a hunt with PSRO there needs
to be a signed contract and a deposit paid. PSRO
receiving these two things secures a hunt. Unfortunately
the time when two people could simply make a
verbal commitment and have the equivalent of
a binding agreement are gone. Hunters change
their minds, and or circumstances change and
the Outfitter may turn away customers on the
assumption that the deposit and contract will
come in the mail. Thus PSRO has had to adopt
a policy that requires a deposit and a contract
in order to secure a hunt. We will typically
hold a hunt a few days for the transaction to
be completed. But a contract in hand is the best
way to secure your hunt. We recommend overnight
mail as a good option as well. Regular mail can
take up to 7 days, and that’s too long
a time to risk your hunt. Our policy on deposits
and payments are that they are not refundable.
We at PSRO have performed our services as agreed
in our client contracts 100% of the time to date.
When we receive a deposit we typically pay a
referral fee to a marketing person, and we stop
marketing that hunt. Draw dates come and go and
typically when a hunter cancels, we cannot fill
that slot or have to greatly discount the hunt
to sell it, and pay another referral fee.
Thus we have to hold a hard line on a no refund
policy
on cancelled or postponed hunts. When this happens
typically the hunter and the outfitter lose money.
